The Meadowthorpe Community Center is located at 333 Larch Lane at the entrance of Louie Mack Park – 5.5 acres including a tots and toddlers playground, baseball field, basketball court, two newly resurfaced tennis courts, and picnic tables in a tree-shaded grove. The Community Center and Louie Mack Park are owned and maintained by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. However, the Community Center is managed by the Meadowthorpe Neighborhood Association. Together, MNA and LFUCG developed guidelines and standard rental fees for individuals and groups wishing to use the Center.
Our newly renovated center is ADA compliant, includes a full kitchen, projector, tables and chairs for up to 72 people.
There is no wifi in the center. You must provide your own wifi for connection to the projector.
LOUIE MACK PARK
Meadowthorpe’s neighborhood park, located on the same site of the Community Center, is named after Louie Mack, founder and former president of MNA. Open space covers most of the park’s 5.5 acres, which also includes a tots and toddlers playground, baseball field, basketball court, two newly resurfaced tennis courts, and picnic tables in a tree-shaded grove. The park is owned and maintained by the City of Lexington.
