Order your engraved historic plaza paver
At the intersection of Boiling Springs Drive and Old Leestown Road, the historical marker commemorating Halley Field, Lexington’s first airport, where Charles Lindbergh landed his plane in 1928, has been relocated from its original installation on the sidewalk. The marker is now the centerpiece of a small brick-paved plaza a few feet from the sidewalk. A significant number of the pavers are engraved in recognition of Meadowthorpe neighbors, family members, and area businesses.
